Bang Bang! is a 2014 Hindi action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Fox Star Studios. The film is an official remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day and features Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles performed by Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz respectively in the original.
The film released on October 2, 2014 in about 5100 screen worldwide, the biggest release for an Indian film. The film was distributed and marketed by Fox Star Studios in collaboration with Fox International Productions worldwide,and despite opening to mixed critical reviews, it grossed INR27.54 crore (US$4.5 million) on its first day, becoming the 5th highest opening Bollywood film in India after Dhoom 3, Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiger and Singham Returns.

The film is a remake of the Telugu film of the same name, with a screenplay adapted by Nadiadwala and Chetan Bhagat. The film released on 25 July, 2014 in about 5000 screens worldwide is the biggest release for an indian film.
Kick received mixed to positive reviews from critics and went on to perform well commercially, breaking several domestic box-office records. The film was declared a "Blockbuster" at the box office by Box Office India after its first week of release. The film went on to become the second highest grossing Bollywood film of all time in India, the seventh highest-grossing in overseas markets and the third highest-grossing Bollywood film worldwide.

The film was a commercial success, grossing over $1 billion in worldwide box office revenue.

    The review closed with the comment: "Bangali Babu English Mem is worth a dekko."[1]
    The Business Standard referred to the film as "...a typical Bengali rom-com with a new Tollywood pair.
